Fall Bridge, Sleepy Hollow NY

Fall in Sleepy Hollow. An old handmade bridge still stands in the woods, under crisp afternoon sky.

I’ve used deep organic greens and blues for the water and forest, with smooth yellow highlights for the sky and reflecting water. The stones are in teal, blue and indigo, with the handmade log bridge in umber, taupe and green. The sky has varying accents of blue and violate, while bright orange fall leaves contrast against the mellow fall scene.
