Winter in Vermont

“Vermont must be beautiful this time of year, all that snow” -White Christmas

It’s hard to remember exactly the shapes of mountains, but there are some that stick out for sure in my mind. The three similar looking humps in the middle row are called the 3 Sister’s, and the pointy one off to the far left is known as Haystack Mountain.

In late afternoon an overcast sky with a winter settling sun is really beautiful. I wanted to capture this in the greenish-greyish blues, teal hues and soft yellow highlights. Such a beautiful contrast to the winter white snow, that reflects hints of a dark but uplifting sky.
