The Creator

This is a painting that came purely from my imagination. When I look up at the stars I am filled with wonder, hope and a bit of fear. What could be out there, how can we get there and what could stop “us” (as race of human beings) from doing so? I wanted to convey all the beauty and magic that I imagine this universe to be, and also perhaps the ideas that scare me. The things that threaten us as a planet (like black holes and global warming, or our own sun dying as a star). When I gaze up at the stars, I see a place of mystique, intrigue & beauty, mixed with the tinge “fear of the unknown”. I wanted to show all of those elements in this piece.
