I was walking through Central Park one day when I saw a tree that stopped me in my tracks. It was as if two trees were growing from one base, intertwined and holding each other. Because I love to paint trees I spend a lot of time thinking about them. I wonder what it must be like to spend your entire life (100’s of years) growing into one position. Well that pose must be an expression, it must mean something! Why else would you spend so long growing one way?
